What is the best appropriate height of a stiletto heel or pump to wear to high school ?

I'm a sopre in high school and I am 17 years of age and i never worn high heels before to school but i have worn them to weddings and banquets. I saw my friends wearing some stiletto heels today with some skinny jeans and they look totally cute with skinny jeans and a cute shirt so i was thinking of wearing my own pair of stiletto heels to school sometime this week. My pairs of stiletto high heels are about 3 to 4 inches high and some are 4.5 inches tall and my mother's collection of heels are about 5 to 6 inches tall so i was thinking of borrowing hers because i am 5"3 so i look so damn short without heels, my mother is 5"0 so that's why hers is that tall. Do you think it ok for to wear her heels or should i stick with my heels that are around 3 to 4 inches tall ?? What is the best height for a stiletto heel to wear to school ?
