Would I be able to get through the book The Brothers Kazamarov and understand it?

You're a boy after my own stony, cold heart...I would say yes, you would be able to read it, based on the other books you've read. I would also suggest other Anna Karenina and books by Dostoevsky, they're pretty good if you end up liking Tolstoy.
