Is it more common for people to listen to older music (70s, 80s, 90s) now than before?
It's even more common for them to listen to the real oldies from the 50's and 60's. Survey's say that is still the most popularly listened to era of music. It has artists like Beatles, Dave Clark 5, Elvis Presley, John Denver, Beegee's, Supremes, Sonny and Cher, The Jackson 5, Simon and Garfunkel, Peter and Gordon, Roy Orbison, Ricky Nelson, Gary Lewis and the Playboys, Connie Francis, Comets, Coasters, Crickets, Four Aces, Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, The platters, Tommy Sands, Fabian, 5th Dimention, Gary Pucket and the Union Gap, Johnny Mathis, The Kingsmen, Lovin' Spoonful, Paul Revere and the Raiders, Three Dog Night, The Vogues, BJ Thomas, Herman's Hermits, Johnny Tillotson, Righteous Brothers, Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones, Bobbie Vinton and that is just a part of the singers. What makes it so popular of an era is that most of these guys are still out there singing their songs.
