Texing how long should i wait boyfriend?

EVery morning my bf sends a good morning text. usually just says "morning." or "hey" i usually respond bck immediatly but he sent it at around 9 am i usuaully reply by 1. im VERY clingy on him and he knows this after i text him back im asking all sorts of questions and being really into him, he usually texts back one worded answers or two words. Its now 2:30 and i havent texted back...WHAT can i do to make him want me more with this? i sitll havent texted but im afraid if i wait too long hell be mad at me and hold it against me help1
