Why do you think all dogs need to be champions to be breeding quality?

I am not for just anyone breeding.I think it takes research,knowledge,lots of money,proper care of dogs,and so on.I think people are unfairly judging though.Not everyone with a non champion parents to puppies is a BYB.That is a harsh statement.Although I think dogs should be tested for genetic and hereditary defects and litters should be purebred and well thought out.Not everyone has the time to show their dogs,the desire,or shows in their area.Why does every dog that's bred have to be a champion?With the cost of showing,puppies are way way more expensive then the average purebred.You may say you get what you pay for but what if everyone showed then?Who would be the champion?The average person will not buy a show quality puppy so what is so bad to sell them a healthy puppy,that has been well cared for and loved,that the parents fit the breed standard.Which is a lot better then them getting them from a pet shop.Don't get me wrong I have basically gave up breeding for rescuing.I just think not everyone is a bad breeder because they don't have champion dogs.
