Whats best for an Online Company; LLC or Proprietorship?

It depends on the amount of liability involved. I'm not sure what "wasteful" means, but creating an LLC only took me about 15 min through the Secretary of State website for my state. LLC as you know will protect you from personal liability. I think thats a big "plus" of selecting this form of legal organization
