Is it true Canada is going to become the United States and will be overtaken by American rulership and law?

I heard somewhere that Soon Canada will no longer be Canada and that America will have governance over us and we will be the united states, and mexico will one day join and be an extension to that. If this is true my respect for America has declined a tad since it seems very unfair and a terrible of our resources, our culture, free health care, hockey, everything that makes us who we are it sounds like a war, because i wouldn't just sit back and let this happen! But i don't know for sure about it, i just heard a lot of people talking about it today and theres apparently a bunch of sites, youtube channels that have been publishing these articles and news.
