Gossip Girl on The CW?

Is any one else freaking pissed that they're going to wreck out fave. characters with these actors and actresses??? Serena doesnt look drop dead gorgeous, Blair isnt bitchy looking, and she isnt that pretty, she just looks like ur average popular girl wannabe who wears too much make up. Nate isnt hott enough(hes kinda nerdy), chuck isnt either (hes just cute), Dan looks more punk than poet, Jenny...well, is a bit flat compared to her description, I havent seen Vanessa yet. And from the trailer i saw, they dont seem to be in an enchantingly rich world. its just kind of...normal to me. I just dont want the images of the characters ive thought of to be ruined.
